Time to PARTY, Graduates!
It's time! Students everywhere are antsy with anticipation. They have planned their dorm room decor, met their roommate, made college plans, and some have even decided on a major. Let's celebrate these students as they close one chapter and begin another!
Graduation and senior parties are almost underway! Let The Square Cupboard get you started with the guests' first impression...invitations! Whether you choose a graduation theme or decide on a fun generic border, make this party one to remember! You only graduate high school once, after all! And, don't forget those college graduates!
Why not think outside the box for this graduation party? Themed parties always provide the best memories and most fun! We love the idea of hosting a Mother/Daughter Senior Tea! Or maybe just invite the senior girls for a sweet tea party...complete with fun hats!
Make this authentic tea party even more special with the traditional refreshments! Scones, finger sandwiches, berry teas, etc. Use childhood pictures of the girls as place cards on the beautifully set table. Perfect conversation piece! What a great way to celebrate a group of girlfriends who have been together through it all!
If you are feeling more casual, hosting a cookout or crawfish boil may be best for your group of hungry graduates.
Add details to make it memorable and unique. String lights in the trees, use burlap and red checked table cloths, provide plenty of outdoor pillows for seating, scatter peanuts for a little snack, and make sure the music is on! Allow your guests to visit, laugh, and enjoy each other with a casual party atmosphere!
If your graduates are a little more outgoing, we're thinking karaoke is the way to go! What group of high school or college girls don't love singing in a microphone!? Make it happen one last time before everyone goes their separate ways! Invite the boys too! Nothing makes karaoke more fun than watching guys get up and let loose!
Cinco de Mayo falls on a Saturday this year. Perfect party idea for your graduation or senior party! Pull out your sombrero and begin planning!
Fiestas can be SO much fun with just the right touches! Decorate in bright colors and serve Mexican food. This would be a fun party poolside...or just on the back deck. Get a parent to bring a camera and have a photo booth area for fun pictures with sombreros and mustaches!
Perhaps you are low on time and need a stress free party idea. No problem! Pool parties never fail! Provide floats, water guns, and good music. The fun can take care of itself! Hot dogs or pizza work for food, and just dump some can drinks in a big baby pool filled with ice! If you're feeling adventurous, stick some tiki torches around for an extra touch.
Maybe it's time to cowboy up! Get your country music playlist ready for a boot scootin' good time!
Grab some cowboy hats, bandanas, and your favorite pair of boots. Lots of hay bales, burlap, and graduate wanted posters should do the trick for decor! This party would make another cute photo booth area....hay bales, mustaches, stick horses, bandanas, and cowboy hats! Fun pictures to commemorate the big event!
So what are you waiting for?! Give us a call or stop by today to get your themed invitations ready! Think outside the box, and plan a unique graduation party this year!
